There has been a recall on foods with the brand name "Paws & Claws" this product is a product from the Mars Company.
The "Paws and Claws" pet foods that has been recalled is a brand of
the Mars Food Company based in the United States.
This product is not associated with our product or Company.
The recalled product is a "kibble" type product and our product is whole fresh human grade foods which is a completely different product.

Obviously NOT! From the unfortunate pet food recalls of 2007 even the
companies that are putting the product out to you the consumer are not
sure what is in their food! The manufacturer of the product with their
panel of "experts" are not positively sure what the problem is! And all
the different companies using the same manufacturer for different brands?
And the public thought that any certain company was making a product with
their pets' in mind? Think again!! Caveat Emptor!!!

WE HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE
Good wholesome fresh foods with names that we recognize like chicken or
beef. Real meaty pieces and some vegetables for fibre is all our dog
needs and a cat being an obligate carnivore needs real meaty pieces and
very small amount of veggies for fibre.
Paws and Claws Pet Pantry uses fresh human grade A, or certified organic
meats and produce. Only products that we feed our human family members are
used to feed your pets as well as ours.

We will be happy to answer your questions and try to help you make better choices for your companion animals.
All of our meats and vegetables are either Federally approved grade A or certified organic. Our meats are antibiotic, hormone and drug free.
Our
standard dog dinners are 70% raw meaty bones and 30% vegetables.
By request we also provide dinners in both 60% raw meaty bones
and 40%
vegetables as well as 80% raw meaty bones and 20% vegatables.
Cat Dinners are 95% raw meaty bones and 5% vegetables.
All dinners are available in 1/2lb, 1lb. and 2lb and 10lb. vacuum sealed bags.
We are the only raw pet food company to offer ground meats with or without a bone/calcium content. All of our ground meats (except ground organ mix) have either ground bone (chicken, turkey, duck, goose, rabbit and mackerel) or eggshell powder as the calcium source (beef, lamb and ham).
Because we do feed pets who for a variety of reasons, on the advice of their veterinarian can not a this time eat a raw meaty bone diet but need a gently cooked fresh food diet, we do provide them with a variety of ground meats that are either double ground (chicken and turkey) or that do not have bone ground into the meat (ham, lamb and beef).
Also for those who are already feeding
50-60%
portion of their pet's diet as raw meaty bones and want to add a larger
variety of protein sources without increasing the bone content they can
now add ground ham, ground beef, ground organ mix and ground lamb to
their dog's diet.
